for Georgia's Vehicle Emissions Inspection & Maintenance (I/M) Program.

Welcome to the Georgia’s Clean Air Force (GCAF) Website for Motorists.

We appreciate your interest in Georgia’s Clean Air Force, the state’s Enhanced Vehicle Emissions Inspection and Maintenance (I/M) Program. Through your participation there have been significant improvements to Georgia’s air quality since the program began in 1996. More than four million polluting vehicles have been identified and repaired. But there’s more to be done. GCAF remains committed to helping the region work toward better air quality.

Some inspection stations have temporarily closed during this time; however many stations remain open. We recommend that motorists visit our list of testing stations to view the contact information for testing stations in their area, and call ahead in order to confirm operating hours before traveling to a station.

View the GCAF Service Center office re-opening dates. All visitors of GCAF’s service centers will be required to wear a mask and follow six-feet apart distancing.

Please contact your county tag office with any tax-related or registration inquiries.
